This is a picture of me on October 22,1994. Jake Elliot and I had been asked to take part in a kids day parade demo. So we jumped barrels, jumped a car, and we also lined up people to jump. On the back of this pictures it mentions that I jumped 6 standing people that day. I remember being soo pumped about getting to jump a car.

Its pretty disappointing that I dont have this picture at a higher resolution. I was soo excited the day I got to do this rail. I had been driving past it for quite some time before I got around to skating it. Unfortunately the best image I can find is extremely low res. Jeremy… If you ever read this. Please hook a brother up. I’m pretty sure that picture is long gone though.

This is a featured section of me from the skate video “Perspectives” back in 1999/2000. I was also on the cover of the video.
From the Vault - John Starr - True Topside Soyale - ( Daily Bread: Issue 13 - 1996 )
This isn’t my favorite picture I’ve ever had in a magazine but I do love that this picture has a bit on significance in rollerblading. This was the first published picture of a true spin topside soyale. It was a trick that I just kind of made up one day. I had been wondering if I could turn my body this weird direction and get my soul to lock into place. Like a contorted backside royale. The rest is history. If you dont know, now you know.
